New Door County Talks Series

New in 2019 for the Door Community Auditorium (DCA) winter lineup is the Door County Talks Series. In 2019, DCA is teaming up with The Door County Civility Project to present Door County Talks, a series of five free lectures presented in the Fireside Lobby. This year’s Door County Talks will promote civility, strengthen community and encourage empathy.

Individual talks will focus on the role of arts in building community (Jan. 12), dealing with anger and hostility online (Jan. 19), civility in the public sphere (Jan. 26), healthy water systems (Feb. 2), and developing fairness, respect, empathy and equality in children (March 2).

All Door County Talks begin at 10 am. Lectures are free to the public. Donations are encouraged. Kick Ash Coffee will provide coffee and bakery available for purchase. Each talk includes a short break and a post-talk Q&A session with the speaker.

Door Community Auditorium is located at 3926 Hwy 42 in Fish Creek. For more information or to reserve tickets, call 920.868.2728 or visit dcauditorium.org.
