New Exhibit at Idea Gallery

Exhibit 4 at Idea Gallery features three artists: Cynthia Wolfe, of Baileys Harbor, Jeff Boutin, of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Bonnie de Arteaga of Green Bay. The exhibition runs now through Oct. 29.

Boutin admired the adventurous spirit of Van Gogh, so he incorporates lots of color, heavy texture, and pushes the boundaries of abstraction in his paintings.

Wolfe finds inspiration for her collages in everything: a farm field, a thrift shop, garage sales to art supply stores. She likes to start with the question, “What if?” and creates mixed-media sculptures, jewelry and collages.

Bonnie de Arteaga works words and pictures together. Intaglio printing, woodcuts and digital imagery by de Arteaga have garnered numerous awards, national and international exhibitions.
