New Exhibits Opening at Maritime Lighthouse Tower

The Door County Maritime Museum is unveiling new exhibits in the Jim Kress Maritime Lighthouse Tower as they are completed this winter and spring. A small ribbon-cutting event scheduled for late January will open the second floor, Shipwrecks, and the seventh, Navigation, to the public.
Following those, the next floors to be completed will be Life Underwater (third floor), Commerce (sixth), Shipbuilding (fifth), People of the Water (eighth), Our Rocky Peninsula (ninth) and Recreational Boating (fourth), all leading up to the grand opening on National Maritime Day, May 22.
The current admission price is $12 for adults and $5 for ages 5-17. Museum admission will shift to $15 for adults and $7 for kids after all the new exhibits are complete.Visit dcmm.org for further details about these exhibits and more.
