New Hires at Door County Community Foundation

The Door County Community Foundation has promoted Julie Haen to the newly created position of senior business officer after six years of valuable service. She will lead the two-person team of Jean Gothberg and Heidi Copiskey, who oversee the foundation’s financial transactions.

Gothberg joined in March 2022 as the business officer. She was born, raised and educated in Southern Door, and as a direct descendant of Increase Claflin, Door County’s first white settler, she has a love for preserving the county.

Copiskey is the foundation’s new administrative assistant. She was born and raised in Door County and is passionate about the community and its culture. Having worked extensively in hospitality, Copiskey believes that compassion is a crucial quality.
