New Informational Website for Hwy. 42 Resurface Project

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast region is announcing a new, informational website for the Hwy. 42 improvement project from Bluff Lane in Gibraltar to Country Walk Drive in Sister Bay. The project is scheduled to start in fall of 2018. The website will be updated as the project moves through the design phase and into construction. The proposed improvements include: milling and resurface the asphalt pavement; adding sidewalk in Gibraltar to improve pedestrian access to the school and YMCA, including the addition of curb, gutter and storm sewer; culvert and storm sewer improvements; replacement of beam guard.
