New Jewelry Displayed at Plum Bottom Pottery

Plum Bottom Pottery’s resident jewelry artist Angela Lensch will debut a new body of work, Sept. 8 – 30. Lensch’s art jewelry features dynamic woven webs of gemstones, and with her necklaces, the negative space becomes the focus.

The jewelry highlights the gemstones Lensch brought back from her travels in India and Nepal last spring. This collection of brightly colored necklaces and earrings will be featured in the jewelry boutique at Plum Bottom Pottery.

Also, Lensch is currently preparing for her featured artist show, “India,” at Plum Bottom Pottery on Oct. 6 from 4 – 8 pm. “India” features beads wrapped with Saris that Lensch discovered in India. This show is sponsored in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board and the Peninsula Arts Association.

Plum Bottom Pottery, open daily 10 am – 5 pm, is located at 4999 Plum Bottom Road. To visit, go 15 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay or 5 minutes south of Egg Harbor on Highway 42 and east on Plum Bottom Road.
