New Parade in Baileys Harbor for “Harbor Holidays”

This year, the Baileys Harbor Community Association and Baileys Harbor Historical Society are teaming up to bring you “Harbor Holidays” on Dec. 5 from 1 – 6 pm.

Come out for a wonderful day full of activities in the heart of Baileys Harbor. Bring the kids out to see Santa, march in the parade, make some holiday ornaments, and much more.

The festivities begin at 1 pm with an Open House and Christmas scene exhibit featuring dollhouse scenes by local artist Carol Pinkalla at the Visitor Center & Historical Society (8061 Hwy. 57). Cookies and light refreshments donated by Bearded Heart Coffee will be available during the Open House.

After that, watch or take part in a brand new holiday parade through Baileys Harbor. This year, the route will be from Bluff Road to Guy Street to the town hall. There will be caroling and Christmas music, Santa on a fire truck, and some dressed up horses, ponies and goats.

The parade ends at the town hall and the holiday party begins at 4 pm with arts and crafts, holiday treats, a visit from Santa and more. At 5:45 pm, gather round the Christmas Tree on the town hall lawn and watch as Santa lights it up to bring in the Holiday season.

Don’t forget to start stocking up on your Christmas gifts at the Baileys Harbor Farm Market at the town hall Sunday, Dec. 6 from 9 am – 1 pm.
