New Polka Music Series at the Kress

The Squeezebox Polka Pals Combo – led by Jerry Voelker on the accordion, Dale Graf on the banjitar and button accordion, and a sax instrumentalist – will launch a new polka music series June 26, 7-9 pm, at Egg Harbor’s Kress Pavilion. This will be the first in a series held monthly on the last Wednesday through the fall at the Kress Pavilion.

Polka music has deep roots in Door County history. It was the most popular music and dance during the first half of the last century, and the squeeze-box accordion was the most popular musical instrument.

Polka music lovers are invited to listen and dance. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
