The new Orchards Rehabilitative Suites and Private Rooms at Good Samaritan Society-Scandia Village will host an open house and grand opening June 6 at 3 pm. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony, program, tours, complimentary food and refreshments. The completion and grand opening of the new areas of the campus completes the final phase of the recent $8 million capital campaign. The new Rehab Suites serve the short-term needs of those requiring therapy services after surgeries such as hip or knee replacements.
All short-term residents will work directly with therapists at Door County Medical Center’s Sister Bay branch located at Good Samaritan Society-Scandia Village.
