New Space for Fine Line

“Together We Can” by Nathan Bennett.

The addition of a new gallery, new artists, and four season exhibits are just three of the many things Fine Line Designs Gallery is excited about this season. The galleries will open full time for the season on May 1, with the gallery’s first exhibit of the 2015 season opening the same day.

Gallery owner Shari Gransee is excited about the new gallery space, which was purchased last spring and is adjacent to the current gallery. “It will allow us to feature additional artists, artworks, and handcrafted gifts,” she says, “and it’s helping us to grow in a purposeful way. We’re excited to show both long-time and new visitors the breadth of work we’re able to have as a result of the new space.”

Fine Line’s season kicks off with Exhibit I, which features the work of oil painters Lois Eakin and Terrill Knaack as well as mixed media artist Ed Lazzeroni and sculptor and furniture builder Paul Klein. The artist reception for the show is planned for May 23, 4 – 7 pm. On May 24, Paul Klein will be on Fine Line’s grounds, holding a demonstration of his sculpture and furniture-building techniques from 11 am to 2 pm. Exhibit I will be on display through June 2.

In addition to the opening of Exhibit I, the gallery will feature work from many returning artists as well as several new exhibitors—among them are oil painters Hal Koenig, Dean Bradshaw, and Jill Worm; bronze artist Nathan Bennett; and mixed media artist Patty Carmody Smith.

Fine Line is located at 10376 Hwy. 42, on the north end of Ephraim. For more information, visit finelinedesignsgallery.com or call 920.854.4343.
