The stained glass art of Wisconsin artist Norma Hove is the featured exhibit at Artzy Studio July 14-31.
Hove saved small stained glass pieces given to her by her parents from an old antique window. Little did she know that 25 years later she would use them in her stained glass window designs. She started creating art glass in 1990, after taking classes at the UW Outreach program. Hove then branched out on her own, experimenting with different glass components, shapes and colors.
Hove said, “It’s an ongoing challenge to project just what the end result will be, and dealing with surprises is just part of the process.”
Her glass work is in many private and permanent collections including the UW Hospital and Clinics in Madison.
Artzy Studio is located at 10329 Hwy 42 in north Ephraim. For more information find Artzy Studio on Facebook.
