New Wedding Expo to be Held at Lodge at Leathem Smith

The inaugural Door County Wedding Expo is planned at the Lodge at Leathem Smith during Fire and Ice Festival weekend in Sturgeon Bay on Feb. 12 & 13. The event will feature workshops, live entertainment, gifts, samples, door prizes as well as representatives and displays from 75 local Door County wedding venues and vendors. Meet and coordinate your special day with the area’s finest event planners, bakers, caterers, florists, officiants, photographers, videographers, DJs and entertainers at the expo.

On Feb. 12, wedding vendors will exhibit in the Leathem Smith Event Center beginning at 5 pm. At 8 pm attendees are invited to enjoy a signature wedding drink demonstration by Lodge owner and Culinary Institute of America graduate Paul Meleen that will feature a cascading river of fire, just one of several wedding cocktail highlights on tap.

At 9 pm, guests and vendors are invited to socialize around the Event Center Bar as Elvis impersonator Lee Birchfield takes to the stage in “Elvis Live!”

On Saturday, wedding vendors will exhibit in the Event Center from 9 am to 3 pm with opportunities to learn from the experts at a series of informative presentations, such as How to Host a Green Wedding, etc.
