  • Washington Island Fly-in Draws 154 Planes

    • The Washington Island Lions Club Fly-in drew 154 planes July 17. Over 154 planes registered during the event and 600 platters of boiled whitefish were served.

  • Egg Harbor Preps for Marina Opening

    • The Village of Egg Harbor will host a grand opening for its new marina Aug. 14. Jim Rooney, Chairman of the Wisconsin Waterways Commission will be on hand, as will the University of Wisconsin Marching Band.

  • Wisconsin Leads Census Participation

    • Wisconsin had the highest level of participation of any state in the 2010 United States Census. Eighty-one percent of Wisconsinites mailed back their census form.
