Patty O’Rourke was recently hired as the program coordinator for Door County’s Big Brothers Big Sisters program. O’Rourke is a longtime resident, substitute teacher, tutor and volunteer for the Southern Door area.

Cellcom Offers High School Sports App
Cellcom has launched an application to track Wisconsin high school sports’ teams. The Varsity by Cellcom app allows users to track their favorite varsity teams and get scores, statistics, schedules, standings, roster information and news.

Facade Improvement Loans Available to Detour Businesses
With the finalization of the detour route through Sturgeon Bay, the City of Sturgeon Bay and the Door County Economic Development Corporation have created and approved a Façade Improvement Loan Program.

EHBA Organizes Halloween Safe Walk
Egg Harbor’s Halloween Safe Walk organized by the Egg Harbor Business Association will be held Oct. 28, 12 – 4 pm. Children will be able to trick-o-treat throughout the streets of Egg Harbor and should look for orange signs in the windows of participating businesses.
