    Hudson Road Trading Company is closing its doors at end of day on September 3, and will host a Farewell Celebration on Sept. 2, 5 – 8 pm. Co-owner Margie Needelman says “I will miss all of my customers, so I decided to close Hudson Road with a party, rather than tears.”

  • Gluten-free Options Offered at Sweetie Pies

    Sweetie Pies has added four gluten-free varieties to the pie roster this season – strawberry-rhubarb, blueberry, apple and the ever-popular cherry. “Over the years it seems the demand for gluten-free items has increased,” noted Renny Lea, Sweetie Pies co-owner, “so we thought we’d give it a try.”

    • Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) in Sevastopol recently launched a fundraiser to help them purchase new life-saving equipment. On Aug. 13, the EMRs circulated a letter throughout the town, asking residents to contribute to a fundraising drive with a goal of $50,000.
