Next Community Health Program to Focus on Preventing Suicide

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry continues its Community Health Information Programs with an upcoming presentation on suicide, “Ask a Question, Save a Life” on June 26 at 4 pm. The program will be held at First Baptist Church in Sister Bay, and licensed professional counselors Bonnie Connolly and Monica Nelson will lead the discussion.

It is a given that life at times is very difficult and stressful. All too many individuals find that the struggle to continue living becomes overwhelming and consider ending the struggle through suicide. How to address this problem will be the theme of a discussion at this program.

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry offers free blood pressure screenings beginning at 5 pm at the monthly Loaves & Fishes Meal on the fourth Tuesday of each month at St. Rosalia Church, and 8:15 – 10:15 am on the second Tuesday of the month at the YMCA in Fish Creek.
