Next in TAP’s Playwork’s 2021 is Sunset Baby

Next up in Third Avenue Playhouse’s PlayWorks 2021 series will be Sunset Baby by Dominique Morisseau. The play reading will be streamed live March 5, 7 pm.

In Sunset Baby, Kenyatta Shakur is alone. His wife has died, and this former Black revolutionary and political prisoner is desperate to reconnect with his estranged daughter. If Kenyatta truly wants to reconcile his past, he must first conquer his most challenging revolution of all: fatherhood. Admission to the reading is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted.
