Night of Choral Music at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church

Seven church choirs and the Sturgeon Bay High School choir will gather April 16 for Choir-Nucopia, a night of music and camaraderie. Doors will open at 5:15 pm, and the concert will begin at 6 pm.

The participating church choirs are from Tanum Forest Lutheran, Friends Community, Hope United Church of Christ, Prince of Peace Lutheran, Sturgeon Bay Community, Sturgeon Bay United Methodist and Sturgeon Bay Moravian. Each choir has prepared its own piece, as well as one that all of the choirs will sing together. The evening’s emcee will be Rev. James Gomez, pastor at Prince of Peace.

The event is free, but an offering will be received to support mental-health programs and assistance. Choir-Nucopia will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1756 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay. Overflow parking is available at the office complex across the street and at the YMCA. Get more details by calling 920.743.7750.
