The Door County YMCA is partnering with The Ridges Sanctuary to offer “No Family Left Inside,” a series of programs designed to provide meaningful, memorable experiences for parents and children who want to explore Door County’s natural environment.
Each month, fun activities will be offered to give families more “outdoor time” and help them connect to nature. All programs will be held at The Ridges Sanctuary, but families must register with the Door County YMCA. The fee is $10 per family for each program.
Upcoming programs and dates include: April 17, 10 am – noon, Signs of Spring – Birds, Bugs & Buds; May 14, 6:30 – 8 pm, Frog Walk; June 12, 1 – 3 pm Skittering Critters.
More information on these programs is available in the YMCA Program Guide or on The Ridges’ Web site, http://www.RidgesSanctuary.org, or by calling the Door County YMCA at 920.868.3660 or The Ridges at 920.839.2802.
