NOAA Marine Sanctuary Meeting March 13

The U.S. Department of Commerce National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is proposing to designate an area of Lake Michigan adjacent to Manitowoc, Sheboygan and Ozaukee counties as a marine sanctuary to protect historic shipwrecks and boost tourism. Kewaunee County is requesting that its offshore area be included in a NOAA preferred plan.
