Nominations Due Feb. 26 for DCEDC Business Awards

The Door County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) will accept nominations for their Lifetime Achievement, Door County Industry of the Year and Door County Entrepreneur of the Year awards until Feb. 26. The Entrepreneur of the Year Award celebrates those individuals who have taken the initiative to start and grow a successful small business in Door County. The Industry of the Year award recognizes a construction, service or manufacturing business that has made a substantial impact on the community, and has enjoyed significant accomplishments during the past year. The Door County Lifetime Achievement Award is for individuals who have spent more than 20 years of their career or life building, operating and/or owning business(es) in Door County that have had a uniquely positive and lasting impact on the Door County economy and business landscape, and who actively participate in civic and community development.

The award winners will be announced at the Annual Meeting of the Door County Economic Development Corporation this spring; the date will soon be announced.

Any Door County resident or business can nominate a business, entrepreneur or lifetime achiever by filling out a nomination form or by contacting DCEDC. Self-nominations are encouraged. For a nomination form, email [email protected].
