Nominations Sought for Anne Kok Social Justice Award

HELP of Door County, Inc. is accepting nominations for the Anne Kok Social Justice Award. The award recognizes an individual, group or organization that demonstrates a commitment to eliminating violence against women, promoting social justice for oppressed and underserved populations, and making an impact in Door County.

The award is named after Anne Kok, the former executive director and board member of HELP who passed away in 2008. Kok was also a community activist whose efforts were instrumental in securing the initial domestic abuse program funds to start HELP of Door County, Inc.

Nominations may be submitted to HELP of Door County, Inc. by May 11 and will be awarded at HELP’s open house on May 22 at 1 pm.
