Nominations Sought for Arts in the Community Awards

The 11th annual Arts in the Community Awards – presented by Arts Wisconsin in partnership with the League of Wisconsin Municipalities – honor communities and civic leaders for championing the arts, culture and creativity as integral to economic, educational and community vitality. Award organizers are currently seeking nominations.

“These awards are all about growing 21st-century economic vitality, a dynamic workforce, education focused on 21st-century learning, vibrant community life and engaged residents in Wisconsin’s cities and villages,” said Jerry Deschane, director of the League of Municipalities.

In 2018, Ryan Heise, Village of Egg Harbor administrator, was an award recipient for his work in cultivating community through public art, sustainability programs and community engagement.
