Nominations Sought for First Annual Smithy Awards

The Lodge at Leathem Smith in Sturgeon Bay is sponsoring the First Annual Smithy Awards to recognize the best of Door County’s friends, neighbors, coworkers and citizens. On Feb. 8 the Smithies will be awarded in each of these categories: Man in My Life, Woman in My Life, Favorite Co-worker, Makes Me Laugh, Best Friend, Best Delivery Person, Best Boss, Strongest Person I Know, Stand Out Youth-under 18, and First Class Patriot.

Nomination forms are due by Jan. 25, and may be dropped off at any Door County Library branch or at The Lodge at Leathem Smith.
