North American Water Garden Society Meeting

The North American Water Garden Society (NAWGS) of Door County meetings unite pond lovers and provide a common forum in which to discuss and promote the enjoyment, education, and protection of the water garden hobby.

The next date for the North American Water Garden Society meeting is Thursday, August 21 at 6:30 pm at the home of George and Dorothea Carson (3820 Sherwood Forest Drive near Valmy). The Carson’s pond was featured for both the 2006 and 2008 Parade of Ponds tours.

The Carsons have chosen a theme for the August meeting, and everyone is encouraged to bring anything from the ‘50s or ‘60s, such old record albums, poodle skirts, sports memorabilia, etc.

Meetings are free and everyone is welcome! Bring a treat to share, and we’ll see you there.
