North Shore Bank to Host Bake Sale Fundraiser to Support Displaced Orchard Estates Residents

North Shore Bank will host a fundraiser in support of the families displaced by the recent Orchard Estates Apartment Complex Fire in Sturgeon Bay. The bank will also match up to $500 of the funds donated to a special account set up in support of the displaced families. The Orchard Estates Apartment Complex caught on fire Feb. 13. As a result, several area families were displaced from their homes. To help support these families, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay opened an account at North Shore Bank. Community members are encouraged to stop by the Sturgeon Bay or Sister Bay offices in Door County or any North Shore Bank location through Saturday, March 5, and donate to the account. Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is also accepting donated items and gift cards. The bank will also host a bake sale fundraiser Friday, March 4, in support of the families from 8:30 am to 6 pm at its office located at 225 N. 5th Ave., Sturgeon Bay. All proceeds will be donated to support the families.
