Northern Door Broomball League: Feb. 17, 2017

Peninsula Painters won its first Hilander Cup Broomball Championship in only their second year as a team with a thrilling 4-0 victory over a very good and defending champion, Alexander’s, on Feb. 12. Backed by shut-out goaltending by Sergey Almukov, the Painters outscored a high-powered Alexander’s offense with goals from Kyle Ouradnik, Ryan LaPolla, Brian Fitzgerald and the youngest player in the Door County Broomball League, Ben Fitzgerald. Congratulations to all teams and players that participated in Broomball this season.
