Northern Door Broomball Tournament

Despite unseasonably warm temperatures, the Northern Door Broomball League was able to get part of its annual tournament completed on a thin layer of ice Feb. 15.

The Feb. 11 all-star game was canceled because warm temperatures had taken their toll on the rink’s surface. Furious flooding efforts produced a thin layer of ice just in time for the annual TKH Cup tournament Sunday.

Early games were completed, but by early afternoon the ice was wearing thin, exposing concrete in several areas, so late games were postponed.

The remaining semifinal and championship games were re-scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 25, but results were not available when the Pulse went to press. Final results are available at http://www.ppulse.com.
