Northern Door Children’s Center Offers Babysitter Training Course Sept. 16

As a service to the community, Northern Door Children’s Center is offering a Babysitter Training Course for young people ages 12 and older (no exceptions). The course takes place Sept. 16, 9:30 am – 2 pm. The location is the Children’s Center at 10520 Judith Blazer Dr., in Sister Bay. The cost is $25 and includes all materials, lunch and a Certificate of Completion. Students learn the basics of how to start a babysitting business, being a responsible sitter, the basics of caring for children, and a brief overview of what to do in case of an emergency. Space is limited and pre-registration is required by Sept. 11. To register their child, parents should call 920.854.4244 and ask for Karen or Morgan.
