A six-session workshop titled “Understanding Income Inequality” will run for six consecutive Tuesdays, Jan. 9 – Feb. 13, 7 – 9 pm. The workshop is sponsored by St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church, Ephraim Moravian Church and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, and will be held at Bertschinger Center, 7860 Hwy 42, Egg Harbor. The workshop looks at the existing income and wealth inequality, how the U.S. got to this point and what can be done to lessen the income and wealth gap. Through short readings and videos the workshop examines national policy issues followed by group discussions. Attendance at all six weeks is recommended, but each session can stand alone. A $15 fee covers all six sessions. The fee is to be paid at the door. For more information contact Jim Black at [email protected].
