Northern Door Volleyball Association Seeks Teams

The Northern Door Volleyball Association (NDVA) is looking for teams to join the Summer Volleyball League on the courts on County Highway A.

Each summer, 12 teams join on Wednesday nights for friendly competition under the Door County stars. Teams play from June 2 through August 11 this year, with a potential rain date on August 18. Games are played at 7, 8, and 9 pm. Participation in the league requires a $100 team sponsorship fee and a $100 per team player fee.

Teams who participated in the 2009 season will be given first priority to re-register their teams. Last year’s teams will receive registration forms in the mail with a registration deadline of Monday, May 17. After May 17, new teams will be taken on a first come, first serve basis with a registration deadline of Friday, May 21. The $100 team sponsorship fee must be submitted by the appropriate deadline to ensure your spot in the league. For the 12 registered teams, the captain’s meeting will be held Wednesday, May 26 at 7 pm at the courts on the courts, followed by the first night of competition June 2.
