Northern Door Volleyball Season Begins

Northern Door Volleyball kicked off its 28th season of sand volleyball on the courts on County A May 31. Defending champion PC Junction rolled to a good start after a controversial off-season of roster maneuvering and player development by general manager Devin Thomas.

Perennial contenders Blue Horse and Husby’s each started strong, while the unknown but talented squad from Main Street Market also started 3-0. Roots Inn may be in the mix before it’s all said and done. The TypeSetters of the Peninsula Pulse figure to improve dramatically as the young squad gains experience, as does Wilson’s crew. Camp David’s crew will, undoubtedly, be happy all season.
