Northern Sky Presents Favorite Love Songs

As part of its virtual winter season, Northern Sky Theater will present Love: It’s Not Just for Lumberjacks – an archival video compilation of some of Northern Sky’s favorite love songs – on Feb. 14, 7 pm. Tickets are being sold on a flexible, pay-what-you-choose basis. 

The clips come from more than a dozen Northern Sky productions from the early 1990s to 2019 and include performances by Fred Alley, the theater’s late co-founder.

Northern Sky will also present Jeff’s Presidential Palooza on Feb. 15, 7 pm. Jeff Herbst, a longtime presidential history junkie, will preside over the evening; Katie Dahl will serve as emcee; and special guests Karen Mal and Jake Endres will join them to present both live and archival video performances of presidential campaign songs from the theater’s quadrennial revue, And If Elected. This participatory evening will also include anecdotes and presidential trivia, including a chance for the audience to stump Herbst.
