Northern Sky Provides Free Tickets to DC Students

Northern Sky Theater (NorthernSkyTheater.com) will once again invite all Door County students to a complimentary evening of entertainment under the stars by distributing nearly 4,000 free tickets.

Every elementary, middle and high school student in all five Door County school districts, as well as area homeschool students, will receive a ticket, which includes an opportunity to see the world premiere We Like It Where? or the return of Windjammers. Students will also be able to use their free ticket to explore the Door County Maritime Museum (dcmm.org) in Sturgeon Bay.

“We are particularly excited about this collaboration because our showing of Windjammers, which is set on a tall ship on Lake Michigan, fits so nicely with the Maritime Museum’s interactive exhibits,” said Ann Birnschein, marketing director.

Tickets will be distributed in the middle of May. Parents should check with their school office if they do not receive a ticket. Students must present their complimentary ticket when attending a show or the museum.
