Northern Sky Welcomes Cyndy Stiehl as New Board Chair

After serving Northern Sky Theater for 23 years as board vice chair, Cyndy Stiehl will step into the board-chair role to succeed Mary Seeberg, who had served in that role since 1997.

Fred Alley and Mary Seeberg approached Stiehl in 1997 to join the board as one of the inaugural members of its expanded structure and to help guide the organization as it matured and grew after its 1990 founding.

“Just as I said yes that day when I met Mary for the first time when she asked me to join the board,” Stiehl said, “I was honored to say yes again when Mary asked me to be chair. Mary’s wisdom and experience and guidance have directed us to our current successes. … Even during these interesting times, the artistic staff has … placed the theater on the cutting edge of creativity that advances our mission in amazing ways.”
