Northeast Wisconsin Technical College automotive students donated a repaired 2007 Chrysler Minivan to We Are HOPE Inc. at the 29th annual NWTC Car Show and Swap Meet. The NWTC Auto Club bought and repaired the minivan, with much of the work being done on the students’ own time.
We Are HOPE Inc. helps Door, Kewaunee and Brown County residents who are struggling to get by with assistance and job training resources. “It’s not just about fixing a car, but giving back. Our club is helping someone who is going through a tough time,” said Jacob Dobesh, NWTC automotive student.
The NWTC Auto Club organizes the annual car show and swap meet. All proceeds go to help automotive students receive certification and support the club’s service learning projects.
