NWTC Awards HSHS St. Mary’s and St. Vincent Hospitals 2016 Alumni Employer Award

The NWTC Alumni Association honored HSHS – St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center and St. Vincent Hospital with the Alumni Employer of the Year Award at the Distinguished Alumni Reception. The award provides the college an opportunity to recognize an employer’s commitment to technical education.

“NWTC is pleased to present the 2016 Alumni Employer Award to HSHS St. Mary’s and St. Vincent Hospitals,” said Health Science and Education Dean Kay Tupala. “Both hospitals, located in Green Bay, provide exemplary clinical experiences to nursing and allied health students year after year. Hospital employees also participate on various health program advisory committees, offering valuable insight into the needs of the workforce.”

HSHS was selected because of their continued hiring of NWTC graduates and demonstrated value of technical education in the community.
