A large group was on hand Monday, Sept. 24, as NWTC cut the ribbon on their new and modern Sturgeon Bay educational facility.
The nursing lab now has state-of-the-art mannequins for hands-on practice. The therapeutic massage program has its own space. There is also a new welding lab.
“One of the areas that we have that we didn’t in the past is our metallurgy lab and that’s for our welding. In the past if someone needed to get weld testing certification, they’d have to drive to Green Bay,” said Cheryl Tieman, campus manager. “Even in our welding program, they’d have to bring equipment up to do that. Now we actually have a dedicated space for that, a classroom.
