NWTC Offers Personal Care Worker Program

A Personal Care Worker Certificate Program will be available this spring at the NWTC Learning and Innovation Center, 2438 S. Bay Shore Dr. in Sister Bay. The 30-hour program will be held on five consecutive Tuesdays beginning April 6, 9 am – 3 pm.

A registered nurse will teach participants skills for providing in-home and facility-based health care, including communication, moving and positioning, grooming, nutrition and feeding, and infection control. The program is beneficial for those who want to work in health care and those who provide care for loved ones. The fee is $155, and the handbook is $30.

Class size will be limited to ensure physical distancing, and masks will be required. Register by calling 920.746.4970.
