NWTC Recognized as Model of Efficiency

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) is one of eight colleges and universities recognized by University Business magazine’s Models of Efficiency program.

Higher One, a solutions provider for higher education business office operations, sponsors the program. Models of Efficiency recognizes innovative approaches for streamlining higher education operations through improvements in technology or business processes. The latest honorees are featured in the July/August issue of University Business.

NWTC was honored for developing and implementing an electronic Faculty Course Agreement system that replaced some 9,000 paper forms annually. The new system is projected to save more than 22,000 staff hours and over $1 million annually in personnel costs, while improving the speed, efficiency and accuracy of the process.
