NWTC Students Awarded With P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education Grant

Delia Sandoval, a welding student; and Shauna Simonar, an office professional student, are both studying at Northeast Wisconsin Technical CollegeĀ and have both been awarded a P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education Grant. Their applications were sponsored by P.E.O. Chapter DF in Sturgeon Bay.

The P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education was established in 1973 to provide need-based grants to women in the United States and Canada whose education has been interrupted and who return to school to support themselves and/or their families. Grants may be awarded for academic, technical and online courses offered by educational institutions in the United States or Canada.
