NWTC’s Cheryl Tieman Earns Outstanding Staff Award

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College’s Sturgeon Bay Campus Coordinator Cheryl Tieman has been awarded the 2012 Mishler Outstanding Staff Award. This award is presented to a staff member in the district who demonstrates superior service to students, excellence in teamwork and a commitment to NWTC.

For over 20 years, Tieman’s work has been characterized by a focus on student success and a passion for providing a high-quality educational experience.

“Education changes a persons life,” said Tieman. “I have the opportunity to pay it forward, so when I look at the bigger vision of what we’re doing, it’s all worth it.”

This award is part of an NWTC Educational Foundation endowment fund established by Lon and Carol Mishler. Their endowment fund seeks to improve recognition and opportunities for staff at the college.
