Nyberg Hosts “Whine and Geez”

On the same weekend of the Sturgeon Bay Fine Art Fair, Tim Nyberg will show his creations inside The Fairfield Building at the corner of Third Avenue and Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay, where Nyberg is now the sole artist. Over 300 of his paintings fill the first floor gallery space.

This exhibit, “Fun Art,” finds its roots in Nyberg’s lengthy career as a graphic designer and illustrator. His art is whimsical, fresh, colorful, and occasionally objective. Visitors are often amazed to learn the same person created the wide variety of art. A feature story about Nyberg can currently be found in the spring issue of Door County Living magazine.

Art patrons will also find art inside many shops along Third Avenue including the Audrey M. Off Gallery, Kelly Avenson’s Greco Gallery, Gwendolyn’s Gallery, Trattoria Dal Santo, the Corner Cafe and the Artists Guild.

“Whine and Geez” will be held on May 26 from 10 am – 4 pm and May 27 from 12 – 3 pm. There will be an opportunity to sip on some wine and nibble on cheese curds while “whining and geezing.”
