Obituary: Frederick Paul Krumenacher

Frederick Paul Krumenacher, 90, of Sister Bay, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 9th, 2017. Born on July 4th, 1926 in Milwaukee Wisconson to Fred Krumenacher and Appalonia Krumenacher (Schaefer) and raised by his wonderful step mother, Claire Krumenacher (Ferguson).

Fred is survived by his wife, Carol (Blossfield) of 58 years, sons Paul, Carl, Jack (Michelle), James, his daughter Anne and his grandsons, Alexander, Michael and Eric.

Fred served in the Korean war, as a doctor, stationed in Japan. He practiced internal medicine in Milwaukee for 40 years, where he was respected for his diagnostic skills and bedside manner.

After retirement he moved to Sister Bay, serving on the Health Board in Sturgeon Bay, volunteered at The Ridges Sancuary and was a member of Stella Maris Parish.

He enjoyed riding his ATV, tending to his trees, watching sci-fi, and cocktail hour with his dear friend Darcie Weborg.

Our beloved Freddie had a love for life and family, he lived from the heart, strong and true.

Services will be held at Stella Maris Parish – Sister Bay Site on Saturday April 15, 2017 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will be held at the Church from 11:00 A.M. until the time of Service.

Interment will follow the service at Rowley’s Bay Cemetery.
