During high school, Adam played on the soccer team which made it to state several seasons in a row.
Adam’s love and concern for others led him to be involved in numerous volunteer organizations. While in college, Adam was a leader in the Habitat for Humanity Club and the St. Norbert Garden Club which raised produce for area food pantries and the college cafeteria. He was also a leader for TRIPS (Turning Responsibility Into Powerful Service), a national mission program, and YouthWorks, a Christian based youth organization which ministered to the Indian Reservations in South Dakota.
