Obituary: Aneta Cecelia (Bielecki) Schloemer

January 15, 1949 ~ June 7, 2021

Aneta Cecelia Schloemer, 72, of Sturgeon Bay, died on Monday, June 7, 2021.

She was born January 15, 1949 in Warsaw, Poland, daughter of the late George and Aurelia (Spitza) Bielecki. The family moved to the Milwaukee area when Aneta was 12. She graduated from Pulaski High School with the Class of 1967. Aneta was united in marriage with Douglas Schloemer in Milwaukee. She moved to Door County in 1979 and worked as a caretaker at Evergreen Nursery for over 30 years. Aneta was a member of Christ the King Holy Nativity Episcopal Church in Sturgeon Bay. She was fond of nature and animals and enjoyed gardening, photography, drawing and painting, and writing poetry.

Aneta is survived by her sister, Karen (August) Malkmus; niece, Danielle (Andrew) Anderson; nephew, Jakob (Alex) Eisen; and beloved pup, Poochie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Aurelia Bielecki; husband, Douglas Schloemer; and sister, Gabriella Eisen.

In honor of Aneta’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
