Obituary: Arley Rose Knaup

Arley Rose Knaup was born Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Green Bay to loving parents, Heather and Ryan Knaup, of Algoma, and was called Home to Heaven shortly after.

“While her stay with us was brief, we welcomed her with love as we held her. Our hope in Christ is that one day we will be reunited with Arley again.”

She is survived and will be forever remembered by her parents, Heather and Ryan Knaup; sister, Ruby Knaup; paternal grandparents, Tom and Malia Knaup; maternal grandparents, Sarah and James Charney; maternal grandfather, Scott (Shannon Larson) Kankelfitz; maternal great-grandmothers, Shirley Johnson and Judy Tschida Kankelfitz; great-grandmother, Loretta Smith; aunts, Sandra (John) Zamora and Rhiannon Osterkamp, along with many other aunts and uncles; cousins; her dear godmother, Joanne Whipple; and family friends.

Arley was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Harriette and Clifford Knaup and John and Arline Hudson; maternal great-grandparents, William Kankelfitz, David Lantz, and Ralph and Mae Charney; grandmother, Frankie Kankelfitz; great-aunt, DeDe Stevens; and great-uncle, John Nelson.

Funeral services for Arley will be held at 7 pm on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay with Pastor David Leistra, of Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church, officiating. Arley will be laid to rest in Bayside Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Huehns Funeral Home on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services.
