Obituary: Bessie Louisa Rose

Bessie Louisa Rose died peacefully at her home on Feb. 6, 2017 at the age of 80 years. Rose moved to Door County in the Spring of 1993.  She worked in the deli at Main Street Market, Egg Harbor, the Timberdoodle Gift Shop, Sister Bay, and was a greeter at Wal-Mart in Sturgeon Bay.

Mother enjoyed gardening, reading, feeding the song birds and quilting. She corresponded regularly with family and friends, sending cards, letters and small gifts.  Rose will be missed by many. A private family service will be held at a later date.
