Obituary: Betty Ann Knudson

Betty Ann (Pentti) Knudson, 80, of Sister Bay, passed away on November 1, 2015 joining the love of her life Edward (2012) and their son Dean (1970). She was born August 5, 1935 the only child of Charles and June Pentti in Michigan.

After living in Milwaukee on North Lake (Paradise), they retired to their cottage in 1984 in Fish Creek, WI. They spent 45 winters in Florida.

She was a member of Scand Auxliary since 1984. Worked in the Beauty Shop, Resale Shop, called Bingo and visited weekly, as friends became residents, she and Ed visited every Sunday.

She attended Ephraim Moravian Church. Her former memberships included Lake Keesus Women’s Club, North Lake Yacht Club, North Lake Nomads, National Cystic Fibrosis research.

The family is honoring Betty Ann’s wish and a Family Service was held at Little Sister Cemetery in Sister Bay, where she was buried next to her husband Edward.

Memorials in her memory can be given the Scandia Village in Sister Bay, Ephraim Moravian Church or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
