Obituary: Bridget Ann Dickelman


Bridget Ann Dickelman, 48, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away suddenly December 2, 2015.  She was born  April 3, 1967, in Chicago, IL to Wesley and Katherine (Franklin) Hovde.  On June 12, 1993, she married Charles “Chip” Dickelman at the United Methodist Church in Sturgeon Bay. Bridget graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1986.

Bridget worked as a health care provider for the Sunshine House and Homes for Independent Living for many years.  She was most recently employed by the Southern Door School District.  She was a past member of the Sturgeon Bay Jaycees.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Andrew Dickelman, Baileys Harbor; parents, Wes (Patti) Hovde, Sturgeon Bay; Katie James, Conway, S.C.; one brother, Scott (Lynette) Hovde, Conway, S.C.; paternal grandmother, Erma Veith, Sturgeon Bay; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather, aunts and uncles.

Visitation and a time of gathering will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay.  On-line condolences may be offered at www.forbesfuneralhome.com
